OctoPlus N.V. has signed an agreement with an undisclosed U.S. biotechnology company for the use of OctoPlus’ controlled release technology. OctoPlus will use its PolyActive drug delivery technology to develop a controlled release version of a product currently in clinical development. Simon Sturge, chief executive officer of OctoPlus, said, “I am delighted to see the continued adoption of our PolyActive technology. We continue to explore opportunities where OctoPlus’ unique skills in microsphere development and production can be best exploited.” Financial terms were not disclosed.
